What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow a website to remember information between pages and visits.

Cookies we use

The public website does not set any cookies. Your language is part of the page address (/ar for Arabic), so no cookie is needed to remember it. The only cookie we use is for the administration area:

CookiePurposeTypeDuration
bloomience_adminKeeps authorised Bloomience staff signed in to the administration area. It is only set when staff sign in.Essential (security)8 hours

We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Similar technologies

Our own cookieless website analytics keeps one temporary value in your browser’s session storage. It is never sent to third parties and is not used to recognise you across visits:

NamePurposeTypeDuration
bl_as (session storage)A random visit identifier that groups the pages of one visit for our first-party analytics. It is also sent with the contact and job application forms so a submission can be linked to its visit. See the Privacy Policy for details.Analytics (first-party)Until the tab is closed; replaced after 30 minutes of inactivity

Third-party services

When you follow a link to an external service, such as WhatsApp or our social media pages, that service may set its own cookies. Those cookies are governed by the third party’s cookie and privacy policies.

Managing cookies

You can view, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not affect your use of the public website. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab, and you can also remove it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the cookies or similar technologies we use change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
